An increasing number of Fintech companies (companies that leverage the latest technology as added value to their products and services) are offering mobile applications and platforms for buying and selling cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p>In Mexico, there has been a surge in cryptocurrency investment. However, when we consider the state of financial education in Mexico, it&#8217;s crucial to emphasize the competencies, skills, fundamental knowledge, and the relationship between income levels and academic preparation. These factors are essential for addressing this side of technology.<\/p>\n<p>According to a survey by YouGov, an analysis and research data firm, only 24% of the country&#8217;s population understands how digital assets work (Estrada, 2023).<\/p>\n<p>The cryptocurrency options market is expected to grow up to ten times its current size, similar to traditional finance (Amaskov, 2023).<\/p>\n<p>For startups, it has allowed them to raise funds without relying on intermediaries, which signifies an advancement in the world of digital asset transactions. However, regulatory measures should not be overlooked, as they persist as a challenge in this field, given that financial assets are constantly threatened by cybercrime, for example.<\/p>\n<p>There is still an important path to be traversed in terms of technology knowledge.
