Mexico sends military, marines, and rescue dogs to Turkey to aid in search

Following the 7.8-magnitude and 7.5-magnitude earthquakes in Turkey and Syria early Monday morning, the Mexican government dispatched a group of search and rescue specialists to Turkey Tuesday morning to assist. The group is composed of 93 members of the Defense Ministry, 37 members of the Navy Ministry, 15 members of the Red Cross and five officials from the Foreign Ministry. In addition, the Mexican brigade, which arrived in the Turkish city of Adana early Wednesday morning Mexican time, included 16 rescue dogs, known in Mexico for finding people in the rubble.
