Mexico, the most attractive of the emerging markets for investors
Against the backdrop of the economic slowdown in the United States and other global pressures, Mexico is attractive because of its relatively early post-pandemic recovery, political stability and presidential approval.
A few days ago, a press briefing was held in New York City with some of the key executives of the French bank BNP Paribas to hear their economic outlook for the Latin American region this year.
The general outlook was very positive. The Head of Coverage & M&A, who has been involved with the region for 25 years, explained that Latin America has experienced relevant and faster growth compared to other regions in recent decades. In addition, he said, the economies are increasingly better structured and have recovered well from the crises in the United States.
